Bendown seeks to change the perception of thrift shopping from "low-income behaviour" to "destiny-altering activity". In other words, the clothes were always meant for you – they just took a detour before arriving in your life. The branding consists of several themes that hint at redirection, such as the "b" arrow emblem, the images with traffic signs, and the cleverly-worded headlines.
